Delivering this website
The website and our analytics run on our server at DigitalOcean in Frankfurt, Germany. Delivering and securing the site requires processing connection data, including your IP address, request time, requested address and information sent by your browser. Hosting providers may access this data as part of operating the service. Our web server configuration does not keep a separate visitor access log; technical operational and error logs may occur. Images, fonts and videos are served directly from our website.
Optional website analytics with Umami
Only with your permission, we use self-hosted Umami to improve the website. It records visited pages, timestamps, referring websites, campaign information, browser, device, language and link clicks (social media, downloads, navigation and email contact). Click events do not include URL query parameters, fragments or email contents. Umami processes the IP address to generate a pseudonymous visit identifier but does not store the IP address itself in the analytics data. We do not use personally assigned user IDs, advertising pixels, session recordings or heatmaps. Data is not sent to Umami Cloud. Statistics are accessible only through a protected dashboard. Analytics data is automatically deleted after no more than 90 days.
Your choice
Analytics is off before you give permission. On your first visit, you can allow or decline analytics in the banner. Your choice is saved only in your browser so that we can respect it on later visits. You can change it at any time through “Analytics settings” at the bottom of the page and withdraw permission for future visits. Collection stays off when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled. No analytics is collected without JavaScript.
Email and external links
If you contact us, we process your email address and message to respond to your request. We retain this information as long as necessary to handle the request or meet legal retention requirements. Links to Steam, Discord, YouTube and our other social profiles lead to external providers. Their own privacy notices apply when you open those services.
